Artist's Description

The Big Tent was used for the US Pavilion and centerpiece of the 1974 World's Fair in Spokane Washington. It was covered with a white vinyl covering which was never designed to last. Years later at the vinyl began to wear it was removed and the metal and wire structure remained as a show piece and reminder of this small communities role in hosting the World's Fair.
